About
*Note* This product is currently order in from the Parts shop max Taiwan Factory. Roughly takes 1-2 weeks if in stock with Taiwan. You can check stock worldwide on the PSM website https://store.partsshopmax.com/ . If Taiwan is out of stock we can order from USA which may increase the price due to shipping costs from the states
Application specific push/pull bushing removal toolset designed to remove OEM rear lower arm's rubber bushings located in the subframe and this part can assist in the installation of our spherical bearing joint conversion on or off the car.
(sold separately) The process is demonstrated in episode 15 of the YouTube build series (on-car) and episode 18 covers off-the-car install, and you can see stills of that shown in the photo gallery here.
Robot welded, gold zinc coated heat treated steel cup for the pull side and CNC machined push tool with hardware.
After OEM bushing removal using your hand tools (22mm socket & combination wrench), the bearing housings get tapped in with a dead blow off the car or hand pressed into the OEM bushing locations on the car with the push tool shown here on the rear side and a giant washer on the front side (or repurpose our solid subframe push tool on the front side) & tightening the nuts into the all thread rod. The beaing housings are prepped for the job by freezing the bearing set (sold separately) for 45 minutes.
Set it and forget it with loctite 680 bearing mount compound on subframe bores and bearing housing OD.
The TM3SFRLCAB bearing conversion is a press fit after it warms up to room temperature so you need to work quickly.
The toolset is tough enough to do many installations although the life of the all-thread and nuts will be shortened without or extended by using copper anti-seize regularly.
