Nobody likes wasting time setting up a hydraulic handbrake kit!
If you want to avoid wasting time shopping around for all the individual parts, getting custom brake lines made up or running generic parts that may or may not work then we suggest having a look at our complete hydraulic handbrake kit.
The contents:
Handbrake assembly:
Self explanatory, this is the handbrake assembly that houses the lever and master cylinder. For the "outside trim" mounts we use our regular handbrake assembly and for "in center console" mount we have made a version specific to suit which is more compact with the master cylinder running horizontally to avoid unnecessary trimming to the center console.
Handbrake handle:
This beautifully crafted CNC machined aluminium lever has been designed with ergonomics in mind whilst being aesthetically pleasing. Eg. it is comfortable and it looks good. Choose between silver, black, blue, pink, purple, red, orange, gold or neo chrome.
Master cylinder:
Choose between 5/8" and 3/4". For non Akebono calipers our recommendation is 5/8" and for the Akebono/sport calipers we recommend the 3/4". More on that below in the FAQ's.
Chassis specific handbrake mount:
Our chassis specific handbrake mounts are designed to ensure that our handbrake assembly can be fitted in an optimal position without the need to cut or drill into your transmission tunnel. We have made 2 different position variants in addition to LHD or RHD specific.
Inside trim = mounts inside/within the center console itself, this will require trimming to the center console for the lever.
Outside trim = mounts outside the center console itself, no modifications required to the trim when used on either the left and right-hand side.

Bulky and freight items
Some items, including race seats, large exhaust systems, and oversized freight, are shipped via our freight carrier. Rates for these are shown at checkout. For rural South Island delivery on large items, we'll contact you with a quote before dispatch.
International orders
We don't offer automatic international shipping rates. Request a quote, and we'll get back to you with rates and delivery times before you purchase.

We accept returns within 14 days of the invoice date if the product isn't suitable for your application. The product must be returned in its original condition and original packaging.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange for a different product, we're happy to help. Contact us at sales@scarles.co.nz before sending anything back.
Refunds
If an exchange isn't required, a refund may be issued subject to a 15% restocking fee. Original and return freight costs are at the customer's expense and cannot be refunded.
Any product returned damaged or not in saleable condition will be assessed and an appropriate damage fee may apply.
This policy excludes drop-shipped, clearance, sale, and special order products.
Faulty Products
Any fault must be reported to us immediately at sales@scarles.co.nz before any action is taken. We'll assess the best course of action, which may include returning the product for inspection by us or the original manufacturer.
If the product is confirmed as a manufacturing fault, a full refund or replacement will be offered. We do not cover additional fitment costs, certification costs, extra parts, freight, or any loss of time, wages, or business.
