Listing is for:
1 x Coolant expansion tank, 1.0L capacity
1 x 1/16 NPT Barb fitting to 6mm hose
1 x Integrated aluminum mounting bracket
The Nuke Performance Coolant Expansion Tank, 1.0L, has a simplified single-chamber design for reliable cooling system performance.
The Coolant Expansion Tank, 1.0L, from Nuke Performance is designed for both street and motorsports applications, where dependable performance, durability, and ease of installation are key.
Lightweight single-chamber aluminum coolant tank
Type-A radiator cap compatibility
Available both with 1.0L and 1.5L capacities
AN-8 ORB inlet and AN-10 ORB outlet
Built for consistent performance under heat and pressure
The single-chamber expansion tank offers a robust and lightweight solution for pressurized cooling systems. Designed to handle demanding conditions while maintaining stable coolant flow, it delivers long-term reliability across a wide range of applications, both on the street and in motorsport.
Simplified single-chamber coolant expansion tank with controller vortex inlet flow.
Designed around a straightforward single-chamber layout, this expansion tank provides reliable coolant management for a wide range of applications. Incoming coolant enters through the side-mounted AN-8 ORB inlet, creating a controlled swirling motion that supports consistent circulation and natural air separation within the tank.
Single-chamber 1.0L internal design
Designed for use in pressurized cooling systems
Controlled vortex inlet flow
Engineered to function as an integrated part of the pressurized cooling system, not as an overflow tank. The simplified internal construction ensures stable coolant movement and predictable system behavior, while the Nuke Performance 0.8L Performance version (available here) offers the next level of engineering for more advanced requirements.
AN-8 ORB inlet port and single AN-10 ORB outlet port enable a wide range of fitting options with our selection of fittings and adapters.
An AN-8 ORB port located in the upper section serves as the inlet for incoming hot coolant. Its side-mounted position introduces the coolant into the tank with a controller swirl, supporting consistent circulation and natural air separation. We offer a wide range of AN fittings (available here) and adapters to suit your installation.
AN-8 ORB inlet with side-mounted entry for controlled flow
AN-10 ORB main outlet at the bottom of the tank
Straightforward configuration for easy installation
A single AN-10 ORB outlet is integrated at the bottom of the tank, serving as the main coolant outlet. Its position supports stable coolant circulation within the pressurized system, making it a reliable and efficient solution for both street and motorsports applications.
Type-A Radiator cap compatibility, increasing system pressure and operating temperatures for high-performance and motorsports applications.
The coolant tank uses a 32mm radiator neck, designed to use standard "mini" Type-A radiator caps. Upgrading to the Nuke Performance expansion tank allows the use of higher-rated Type-A caps (available here), increasing system pressure and operating temperatures for high-performance and motorsport applications.
The stated pressure rating represents the nominal release pressure and operates within a defined tolerance range. The illustration above shows the intended operating range for each Nuke Performance radiator cap.
Cooling system pressure directly affects the coolant boiling point. Always select the lowest pressure cap that provides sufficient boiling margin for your application, as higher pressure increases thermal stability but also places greater stress on system components.
Designed and developed in Sweden, with no compromises in engineering, materials, or performance.
Engineered entirely in-house by Nuke Performance, the Coolant Expansion Tank range in 1.0L and 1.5L offers a reliable and well-balanced solution for pressurized cooling systems. With a straightforward single-chamber design, controlled inlet flow, and durable welded construction, it delivers consistent performance and long-term durability across a wide range of applications. Developed with the same focus on function, fit, and reliability that defines every Nuke Performance product, these expansion tanks are built to perform in both street and motorsport environments.
There is no substitute for the quality of Nuke Performance.
