Since on board #airsuspension costs and features vary greatly, as a suspension specialist we have always left the level of project budget, as well as electronic & install complexity up to you but now you have another choice that’s low cost and very focused on performance.
Deleting the failpoints, complexity, weight & cost of onboard air management is a performance air suspension game changer.
It’s no longer static coil spring ride height versus the air suspension camp in the stance nation sense, because now there is a third option.
This parts set allows you to enjoy the natural progressive air character of added traction and compliance over small high frequency bumps and also smooth & progressive anti bottom out on big hits with an overall composure to the chassis that can’t be had on linear coil springs.
As long as you arent compelled to fiddle with the ride height all the time, which is the strong case for on board air management, the pure performance solution for having everything you want at once (progressive character & speed) is to be at one ride height that the car was aligned to, while the car is in motion.
Sophisticated electronic means of hitting preset pressure based or height sensor based ride heights just aren’t as accurate as we hoped in our past experience. Added stability across temperature changes can come from optionally filling the bags with nitrogen.
We use our shock tune lab’s 40lb n2 tank with a King fill manifold and gauge. Convenience in boosting to trailer loading height comes from a 20oz paintball Co2 powertank w/mini trigger(sold elsewhere).
This Static Bag Lines and Fittings set includes 30ft 1/4" DOT line that is exactly what the compression fittings on our bags need, a line cutting tool, and 4 bulkhead mountable schrader valves as well as 4 laser logo black anodized knurled aluminum caps.
