Toyota Landcruiser FZJ80 4.5L 1FZ Petrol Wagon

$1,188.33 – $2,820.00

Complete Manta exhaust system, available as a “engine pipe-back” system, replacing the last two pieces of the standard exhaust system, or as a full system, including a set of extractors.

System Type: Extractors Back, Full System, with mandrel bent extractors, Full system, with press bent extractors
Noise Level: Medium
Materials: Aluminised Steel, Stainless Steel
Pipe Size: 2.5in Single

Product Description

The Manta exhaust for the FZJ80 Landcruiser wagon is a big improvement on the factory version. Consisting of a set of high-flow extractors, together with an “extractors back” 2.5″ mandrel bent exhaust system, the full kit helps the engine breathe a lot better.

The result is that it revs freer, develops more power, and has more torque low down in the rev range. The 2.5″ pipe size is the perfect size for the 4.5L 1FZ motor, as using any larger pipe size usually results in a loss of low-down torque.

If you’re just looking for a better engine note, the “extractors back” portion of the exhaust can also be bolted up to the standard exhaust system, at the joint just after the driver’s door (leaving the standard manifold and engine pipe in place).

The whole Manta kit is easy to fit, using all the same mounts as the factory system, and is thus a long lasting, high performing alternative to the restrictive factory exhaust system. Available in stainless steel, with a 10 year warranty, there is every chance the Manta exhaust system will last the life of your Landcruiser!

Manta recommends their systems be installed by a professional installer.

Toyota Landcruiser HDJ80 4.2L 1HD Turbo Diesel Wagon

$1,940.00 – $2,642.78

Complete Manta Performance “turbo back” exhaust system – available in 3″ fully mandrel bent aluminised or stainless steel tubing.

System Type: Full System
Noise Level: Loud, Medium, Quiet
Materials: Aluminised Steel, Stainless Steel
Pipe Size: 3in Single

Product Description

The HDJ80 Landcruiser wagon, powered by the 1HD-T 4.2L turbo diesel, can easily be enhanced through the fitment of a high-flow Manta 3″ mandrel bent exhaust system. In fact, it’s probably the best performance modification you can do to this vehicle.

The restrictive nature of the standard exhaust system, which runs as small as 2” piping, effectively chokes the motor. By replacing the standard exhaust with a 3” mandrel bent pipe there are numerous benefits realised; including improved low-down torque and responsiveness, reduced turbo lag, reduced fuel consumption, and improved peak power. Whether you’re towing a caravan, off-roading, or driving cross-country, the extra power from a Manta 3” exhaust is something you can’t do without.

With 3 configurations available, you can either keep the noise level close to stock, get a little bit of a note emanating from the 3” rear pipe, or go all out and get a loud, truck-like sound, with a lot of turbo whistle. For an exhaust system that will last forever, you can get it in stainless steel – carrying a 10 year warranty, or we also have it in aluminised steel, with a 2 year warranty. The entire system is designed for easy fitment, using factory mounting points.

A key feature of the Manta exhaust system for the HDJ80, is that it runs inside the chassis right from the turbo back, and thus does not get in the way when fitting side steps or rock sliders.

Manta recommends their systems be installed by a professional installer.

A common improvement to the HZJ80 Toyota Landcruiser wagon, is the fitment of an aftermarket turbo to improve the power and torque of the 1HZ diesel motor.
