Product Description

The 5.0L BOSS supercharged Coyote/Miami motor in the FG FPV and FG-X range was introduced when the previous 5.4L V8 could no longer meet emissions standards. Producing a huge 335kw, the performance of this engine was nevertheless hindered by the restrictive stock exhaust system, and substantial gains can be realised by fitting a Manta Performance exhaust upgrade.

The stock exhaust on these vehicles was a quad exit design, meaning fitting the Manta exhaust gives the FPV a distinctive “stereo” sound, due to each bank of cylinders exiting out separate sides of the vehicle, rather than both coming out the same side as with the stock exhaust system on previous models. The stock headers and cats on the 5.0L FG have been proven to support over 400rwkw, and a cat back exhaust is all that’s required unless you are doing serious performance modifications. However the full systems with extractors have a throatier sound, but are really only necessary if you are chasing high power figures.

High-flow straight through mufflers are used in all FG Coyote/Miami systems to control drone, while still allowing maximum performance, and giving off a deep throaty tone. For the ultimate in power and sound, the 3″ dual system is the only one of its kind available for the Falcon, while the 2.5″ dual generally provides more than enough flow for most applications, and still sounds fantastic.

Manta recommends their systems be installed by a professional installer.

Ford Falcon FG 4.0L 6 Cylinder Non Turbo Sedan (all models – XT, XR6, G6, G6E)

$1,377.78 – $3,516.67

Complete Manta exhaust system, available in mandrel bent 2.5″ tubing. Choose between a complete exhaust system with extractors, or a “cat-back” system, replacing the last two sections of the standard exhaust.

System Type: Cat Back, Full System, with extractors
Noise Level: Medium, Quiet
Materials: Aluminised Steel, Stainless Steel
Pipe Size: 2.5in Single

Product Description

The FG Falcon was a substantial update on the previous BF model, with a completely new exterior, and an updated version of the Barra 6 cylinder motor, which in its naturally aspirated form produced up to 195kw. The performance of this engine was nevertheless hindered by the restrictive stock exhaust system, and substantial gains can be realised by fitting a Manta Performance exhaust upgrade.

The Manta exhaust system uses 2.5″ mandrel bent piping, which is perfectly matched to the Falcon’s output, giving good overall increases in power and torque, while also improving responsiveness down low.

High flow mufflers are used to control noise without impeding on performance. The full exhaust system with extractors will give the most noticeable increases in power and torque, while the cat back system is ideal if you are just looking for better sound, or a replacement for your stock exhaust system.

Manta recommends their systems be installed by a professional installer.

Product Description

The 5.4L BOSS motor in the FG FPV range got an upgrade when compared to the previous BF model, with power being increased to 315kw. The performance of this engine was nevertheless hindered by the restrictive stock exhaust system, and substantial gains can be realised by fitting a Manta Performance exhaust upgrade.

The stock exhaust on these vehicles was a dual exit design out the driver’s side, meaning fitting the Manta exhaust gives the FPV a distinctive “stereo” sound, due to each bank of cylinders exiting out separate sides of the vehicle, rather than both coming out the same side as with the stock exhaust system on the FG XR8.

The cat back systems are ideal if you already have aftermarket headers and cats, or are just looking for improved sound, while the full systems with extractors deliver the best gains, have a throatier sound, and are essential if you are performing other engine modifications such as supercharging.

High-flow straight through mufflers are used to control drone, while still allowing maximum performance, and giving off a deep throaty tone. For the ultimate in power and sound, the 3″ dual system is the only one of its kind available for the Falcon, while the 2.5″ dual generally provides more than enough flow for most applications, and still sounds fantastic.

System Type: Cat Back, Full System, with extractors
Noise Level: Medium, Quiet
Materials: Aluminised Steel, Stainless Steel
Pipe Size: 2.5in Dual, 3in Dual

Product Description

The stock exhaust for the FG XR8 sedan had a dual exit out the driver’s side only. However for the ultimate in looks and performance, Manta is able to offer a quad tip exhaust system, exiting out the driver and passenger side.

This system does require modification of the bumper, to allow for the extra cut-out, but the results make it more than worthwhile! The dual exit design gives the Falcon a distinctive “stereo” sound, due to each bank of cylinders exiting out separate sides of the vehicle, rather than both coming out the same side as with the stock exhaust system.

Everything needed to install the exhaust, including a new chassis bracket for the passenger side, is included in the package.

Manta recommends their systems be installed by a professional installer.

Product Description

The FG XR6 Turbo has tremendous potential, which can quickly be unleashed with the fitment of the Manta Performance Exhaust System. The full turbo back system replaces the entire standard exhaust system, freeing up the turbo and reducing lag, whilst improving top-end performance and reducing fuel consumption due to its higher flowing design that allows the engine to operate more efficiently.

The exhaust note is much improved, allowing the whistle of the turbo to be heard. The two high-flow mufflers used ensure minimal in-cab drone, yet still maintain maximum flow and performance. The cat-back system is also available, which bolts on behind the standard dump pipe and catalytic converter. The cat-back still gives a moderate increase in performance, while improving the sound of the vehicle, allowing that 6-turbo exhaust note to really be heard.

Manta recommends their systems be installed by a professional installer.

Product Description

The FG XR8 inherited the BOSS 290 5.4L V8 from the BF FPV GT, producing 290kw. The performance of this engine was nevertheless hindered by the restrictive stock exhaust system, and substantial gains can be realised by fitting a Manta Performance exhaust upgrade. The Manta exhaust helps unleash greater peak power and torque, while also improving low-down responsiveness. It also brings out a deep, rumbling V8 note, enhancing your driving experience, making the car sound like it really should! There are a number of options, depending on your budget and requirements. The 2.5″ dual system sounds fantastic, with a deep throaty tone. However for the ultimate in performance and sound, the 3″ dual system can’t be beaten, being the only true dual 3″ all the way through available for the V8 Falcon. For maximum longevity, our stainless steel systems are warranted for 10 years, and generally last the life of the vehicle, while our aluminised steel systems carry a 2 year warranty, and represent great value for money.
