The Ford Fairlane is a long wheelbase luxury sedan, powered by the legendary 4.0L 6 Cylinder Ford motor that had its origins in the 6 cylinder motors from the XY Falcon. This motor produced up to 164kw, depending on the specification, and these figures can be easily increased by fitting a Manta performance exhaust system.
The stock exhaust systems tended to restrict the motor at high RPM’s, and also had a tendency to rust out after a period of time. So if you need to replace your exhaust system, why not upgrade it at the same time?
